In 1891, the University of Arizona planted its first cactus garden, now known as the Joseph Wood Krutch Garden, creating a sanctuary in the heart of the desert. Over a century later, the garden remains a tribute to the resilient beauty of the Sonoran landscape. As you stroll through this desert oasis, the air is thick with the earthy, sweet scent of agave, mesquite, and blooming desert flowers. - THE OH-SO-IMPORTANT FIRST BURN - It is important when lighting your candle for the first time to let it burn until the wax melts to the outer edge of the vessel. This will ensure you get the cleanest burn and best burn time with your candle. This can take 3-4 hours. Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Never burn when only 1/2" wax left in glass.
